Siemens SGT-750 Gas Turbine Flythrough (37MW)

The SGT-750 is one of the latest developments in the Siemens gas turbine range. The versatile machine can be employed for both power generation and mechanical drive. Besides economic viability and ecofriendliness thanks to its high degree of efficiency and low emission levels, prime features of this gas turbine are its high level of availability and reliability.

Two years after launch, a first turbine has been delivered to a cogeneration plant at the landfall station of the Nord Stream pipeline in Lubmin, where it will generate electric power to be fed into the grid, as well as heat that will be used to reheat the pipeline gas. Another turbine was ordered by a Mexican textile manufacturer to generate electricity and process steam needed for producing synthetic fibers.
